Published in Online since 1993, this column features information resources and tools available on the Internet and the World Wide Web, specifically ones of interest to information professionals. Originally entitled "On the Nets" and covering BITNET, Usenet, and the Internet, we dropped the plural and made it "On the Net" starting with the July 1997 issue.
